Fun assignment I got earlier this month. Photo editor Spenser Heaps helped out by writing the article, and it turned out to be a really good assignment. Students at Lakeview Academy in Saratoga Springs, UT get rewarded with special activities for having high GPA's. At least once a year the rewarded students surround a wrestling mat behind the school and cheer on their teachers as they wrestle in sumo-suits in a tournament style. It was fun to sit in the middle as kids cheered. The energy was fantastic and put a smile on my face.

Been combing through the old dusty hard drives while I begin to get my photo life back in gear. It's so easy to fall into the daily routine and sometimes you gotta get your gear all fixed up, get out your personal computer and rebuild your website and look at some old photos. Winter is here and the time is now!

One of many posts I'm sure, but I came across this of my dad, Scott, and my step-mom, Amy, who passed away recently. It's amazing how pictures significance change with time, and this one put a smile on my face. I'm excited to go home and see my family and feel the warmth next week for our favorite holiday. 

I'm glad I found this.
